Cloud Security Architect
### Key Responsibilities#### Network and Security Analysis Conduct thorough reviews of Packet Capture (PCAP) files and analyze Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) logs to identify anomalies and ensure compliance.#### Networking and Firewall Expertise Design and implement network architectures within AWS. Manage security groups, network ACLs, and firewall rules to uphold security standards. Develop and enforce effective network security best practices.#### Log Management and Insights Analyze logs from CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, and AWS CloudTrail. Utilize advanced log analysis tools to extract valuable insights and recommend enhancements.#### Firewall Management Design and maintain firewall rules across various AWS environments. Regularly update firewall policies to align with changing security requirements.#### Collaboration and Client Support Understand client needs and implement customized solutions. Collaborate effectively within teams to ensure robust security coverage. Provide expert guidance on AWS security best practices.#### Documentation and Reporting Document network configurations, firewall rules, and key security policies. Prepare detailed reports that summarize findings and present actionable recommendations.### Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience working with AWS cloud environments, specifically Amazon EC2. Extensive experience in analyzing PCAP files and VPC logs. Strong background in networking, firewall configuration, and security protocols. Proficiency in AWS security services and tools. Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities. Preferred: AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Security Specialty.### Preferred Skills Experience with automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Understanding of security compliance frameworks such as CIS, NIST, or ISO 27001. Familiarity with incident response and forensic analysis in cloud environments.Employment Type: Full-Time
