Machine Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Filler Machine Operator to join our team on the 2nd shift at our Commerce, CA facility. Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and maintain filler machines and associated equipment in the production area Monitor and adjust filler machine settings to ensure proper product filling, sealing, and quality Perform routine quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements Load and unload raw materials and finished products, while ensuring proper handling and storage Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues, escalating more complex problems to the appropriate team members Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and meet shift quotas Accurately document production data, machine adjustments, and quality checks in accordance with company procedures Participate in ongoing training and development programs to expand your skillset and stay current on industry best practices Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent At least 1-2 years of experience operating filling machines, preferably in the dairy or ice cream manufacturing industry Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot common machine issues Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify product defects and maintain quality control Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and multitask effectively Strong communication and teamwork skills Familiarity with GMPs, food safety regulations, and sanitation practices Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time Availability to work 2nd shift hours, including weekends and holidays as Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Night shift Work Location: In person
