About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Material Handlers for a leading manufacturing company located in Eden Prairie, MN. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as a Material Handler:Operate material handling equipment safely and efficientlyReceive, move, pick, store, and ship materials accuratelyConduct cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levelsProcess inventory transactions in warehouse management systemsMaintain organized work areas following 5S standardsSupport lean initiatives by identifying and reducing wasteTrack and manage inventory to ensure accuracy and availabilityPerform general warehouse duties and additional tasks as assigned What You Need to Bring to the Material Handler Role:Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environmentExperience operating forklifts or willingness to obtain certificationUnderstanding of material handling and inventory control processesAbility to use computer systems including Microsoft Office and ERP toolsAbility to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout shiftAbility to maintain attention to detail and follow safety proceduresAbility to work flexible hours including weekends as needed Why You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
