Controller

Unity Search has partnered with a Dallas family office in its search for a Controller. We have a solid relationship with the CFO and COO, and great intel on both. Unlimited PTO, paid benefits, flexibility, (employees are taken very good care of!), are all part of the package!This role will be responsible for the firm’s accounting, financial reporting, and control framework. The Controller will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, Trustees, internal teams, and external advisors to support continuous improvement in systems, processes, and internal controls.Main areas of responsibility:Financial Management and Reporting Tax and ComplianceInvestment Accounting and Operations Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Process Improvement What our client is looking for:7-10 years of experience overseeing accounting and reporting for complex entity structures, including partnerships and trusts; family office, investment firm, private equity, or alternative asset experience preferredCPA required Strong technical accounting knowledge with advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelHigh degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion, with the ability to manage confidential information
