We are hiring a GIS Mapper to support electric utility infrastructure projects in Lawrence Township, NJ!This is an excellent opportunity for:Recent GIS graduatesCandidates with internships or 1-2 years of GIS experienceIndividuals with experience editing/updating geospatial data within mapsCandidates interested in utility, infrastructure, and mapping technology careersResponsibilities Include:• Updating and maintaining GIS mapping data for electric utility systems• Editing and modifying geospatial data within GIS applications• Working with work orders, construction drawings, field reports, and asset records• Creating custom maps, reports, charts, and plots for field teams• Maintaining transformer/service point relationships and asset history• Resolving mapping, connectivity, and land data discrepancies• Supporting large utility infrastructure and relocation projects• Performing drafting and GIS-related office/field workQualifications:• 1-2 years of GIS experience (school, internship, or professional)• Experience using GIS applications and understanding GIS relationships/connectivity• GIS editing and mapping experience required• MicroStation or AutoCAD experience is a strong plus• Utility industry experience is NOT required• Must be comfortable working onsite in Lawrence Township, NJ• Valid NJ driver's license requiredAdditional Details:• 100% onsite role• Primarily office-based with limited field work (5-10%)• Opportunity to work on critical electric utility infrastructure projects• Great opportunity for entry-level GIS professionalsApply now or message me directly to learn more!
