Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent from an accredited institution. This role requires 3 years of engineering design experience in a high-volume production and product development environment, focusing on consumer products or appliances.Responsibilities+ Design and develop high-volume manufactured parts and component pieces using CAD modeling, with a preference for SolidWorks.+ Validate parts and components by interpreting and working from blueprints.+ Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion.+ Lead projects with minimal management direction, ensuring timely and efficient execution.+ Support the transition of suppliers and validate pieces to bring them into operation.+ Apply engineering tools such as FMEA, DOE, DVP&R, RCCM, PLM, and Risk Analysis to improve product processes.Essential Skills+ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.+ Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD modeling.+ Experience with high-volume production environments.+ Strong project management skills.+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Experience with castings, machined metal parts, and injection molded components.+ Familiarity with ERP systems and blueprint reading.+ Strong knowledge of product improvement processes.Work EnvironmentThis position is on-site and involves working with cutting-edge technologies and equipment in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
