At Long Lines Broadband, we have the job for you! We have an immediate opening for a Dispatcher/Tier 2 Support. The purpose of the position is to receive service call requests and dispatch, schedule and follow-up work orders. Their goal is to minimize missed appointments and maximize Technical Field personnel productivity.Title: DispatcherLocation: Office located in Sergeant Bluff, IARate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hourFull-Time/Part Time: Full-TimeReporting to: Customer Experience ManagerPrimary Responsibilities IncludeUnder direct supervision, dispatches timely and efficient customer installation and trouble service assignments, using electronic dispatch equipmentResponds to customer service requests by prioritizing and dispatching work orders to installation and/or service techniciansMonitors technician’s work order status and adjusts throughout the dayMonitor outages and system wide issuesMaintains regular contact with technicians to provide support or adjust service levels based on customer callsPlaces outbound calls to customers both pre-and post-servicePerforms other duties as assignedYou Will Need To HaveHigh School Diploma or equivalent1 year of prior customer service experience in cable, field or office environmentKnowledge of cable industry or service industry is helpful.Experience with CRTs, calculator, 10-key, telephone, and personal computer.Ability to maintain records in a well-organized manner.Good verbal, written and interpersonal communications.Why Join Long Lines?BenefitsWhen you join Long Lines, you’ll be part of an award-winning company and team.
