Duties
Receive, unload, and load shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and RF scanners to ensure safe and efficient handling of goods
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with precision using order picker tools, inventory management software, and ERP systems to meet delivery deadlines
Conduct inventory counts and update stock levels regularly through data entry into warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software
Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other tools necessary for load & unload activities while adhering to safety protocols
Maintain accurate shipping & receiving records, process documentation for trade compliance and international trade regulations when applicable
Assist in stocking shelves and organizing storage areas to optimize warehouse distribution flow
Collaborate with team members to ensure order fulfillment accuracy and provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to shipments or inventory
Skills
Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems (such as AS400), and MS Office applications for data entry and reporting
Experience with shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and order fulfillment processes in a warehouse environment
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment documentation
Skilled in operating warehouse equipment including forklifts (certification preferred), pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other handling tools
Knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics procedures, trade compliance standards, and international trade regulations when applicable
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for stocking, packaging, and order processing
Customer service orientation with clear communication skills to assist team members or clients effectively
