Established multi-disciplined consulting firm is looking to add a talented Senior Project Electrical Engineer to their Beaver Dam, Wisconsin team!Responsibilities:Build/maintain relationships with municipal clients, architects, contractors, and internal teamsTechnical lead on electrical systems designsParticipate in client meetingsEnsure code complianceCoordinate with utility providers to ensure seamless project deliveryMentor/train junior staffLead electrical system design from planning through construction documentation/administrationDesign building systems including power distribution, interior/exterior and emergency lighting with controls, fire alarm systems, low-voltage infrastructure, and backup and standby power systemsPerform engineering calculations, lighting/photometric modeling, load analysis, and equipment sizingPrepare detailed drawings/specificationsStamp/certify engineering documentsProvide project & quality oversight including internal quality reviews and QA/QC process supportAssist with preparing cost estimates, scopes of work, and technical details for proposals/RFQsAssist with submittal reviews, responding to RFIs, and performing site observationsAssist with business development initiativesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering (electrical focus)5+ years of relevant experience designing electrical systems for buildings4+ years of relevant experience with a Master's degreeExperience in K-12 schools and/or municipal building design preferredProfessional Engineering (PE) licenseWillingness and ability to obtain additional state licensure as neededLEED AP, Lighting Certified (LC), or other relevant certifications preferredExtensive knowledge of NEC, IBC, IECC, and local electrical code requirements.Expertise in designing systems tailored to educational and public-sector building typesProficient in Revit and electrical modeling tools such as SKM, AGi32, or Visual preferredFamiliarity with using generator manufacturer sizing softwareSalary is commensurate with experience.Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.Please contact Laura Harrison for further information!www.harrisonconsultingsolutions.com517-906-6926
