This role provides leadership and direction to the production team, driving operational excellence through effective planning, resource management, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Operations Manager ensures compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards while meeting production targets and controlling costs to support overall business objectives.Overall Plant Safety/OSHA ComplianceP&L Responsibility/Expense controlGroup reportingBudgeting and Investment PlanningCapacity PlanningCustomer ServiceHuman ResourcesWarehouse (if applicable)Quality AssuranceSales: Maintenance of existing accountsPolicies/ProceduresMachine and Infrastructure MaintenanceImplementation and proper usage of OPEX initiativesLeading the TeamRecruits (with HR) new employeesPerforms disciplinary actionsAssesses training needs of staff and ensures execution of trainingProvides an active plant personnel development, training, and acknowledge sharing culturePerforms annual Performance Evaluation Performance Metrics:Safety Risk Level: Proactively identifies and mitigates safety risks, with documented improvements or action plans implemented quarterlyOverall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE): Identifies and addresses root causes of downtime to improve OEE performance as defined in the annual Target Declaration process.
