Reporting to Technical Writer Manager, the Technical Writer is responsible for compiling high-quality customer reports utilizing results, data, photographs, quotes, and industry standards. This role requires close collaboration with the Production Team to ensure the delivery of complete and thorough reports that meet the company's standards and client expectations. Ensure reports are formatted according to established report writing guidelines. Collaborate with production and tech writing team for report timeliness and consistency. Work with Quality when required to improve the customer reports and/or report writing process. Manage workflow using “First in First out” process while prioritizing expedited report requests. Use Salesforce to update and communicate the report status. Provide feedback to production to ensure GDPs (Good Documentation Practices) are followed. Attend meetings to remain updated with business needs, priorities, and activities. Attend and participate in education sessions to stay current on industry trends and enhance professional skills. Assist with non-report writing projects and duties as needed. Personal / Professional Attributes Quickly grasp concepts; communicate to ensure understanding of responsibilities. Requirements for Eligibility AA degree, bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred. 3-5 years of strong customer service, technical writing, or quality experience. Experience in packaging, product testing, or related industry preferred. Ability to read, interpret, and summarize protocols, documents, and specifications with accuracy and clarity. Attention to detail to ensure content is accurate, concise, and clear. Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts. Excellent written English, editing and proofreading skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, proficiency in Microsoft Word. Experience with Salesforce and Confluence preferred.
