Construction Project Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a Project Engineer, EIT (Engineer in Training) with Land Development Experience to join Ashburn, VA office. Under the guidance of a licensed engineer (P.E.), this position will work with a project team to design a variety of projects, including industrial, commercial, and residential sites throughout Northern Virginia. Required Skills: EIT (or PE) license Land Development Experience (minimum 3-5 years) Ability to assist Project Managers and Senior Engineers in the planning and design of hydraulic and stormwater collection systems Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Word and MS Excel Strong oral and written communication skills Proficiency in the design and development of land development projects Flexibility in managing job tasks as deadlines and priorities change Desire to work in a team environment Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, clients, and public agencies Preferred Qualifications: Create and run electronic hydraulic models for water and sewer systems, including static and extended period simulations as needed Experience managing land development projects Job Type: Full-time Pay: $66,150.48 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience level: 3 years 5 years Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Experience: Project engineering: 5 years (Required) electronic hydraulic models for water and sewer systems: 2 years (Required) Stormwater Projects: 1 year (Required) Wastewater projects: 1 year (Required) Underground/Utility Projects: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
