Job Title: QN Project EngineerLocation: East Hartford, CTRole SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic QN Project Engineer to support aerospace engine programs. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, driving program deliverables, and ensuring successful hardware shipments for engine builds and tests. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and compliance with engineering standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain industrial-level project schedules.Provide actionable schedules during engineering gate reviews, adjusting plans as needed to meet evolving program needs.Collaborate with Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) leads to deliver part-specific program updates.Drive deliverables to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines for on-time delivery.Coordinate and oversee the shipment of aerospace hardware for engine builds and tests, partnering with customer/vendor procurement teams.Manage and execute the delivery of export-controlled documents and paperwork.Monitor vendor progress in the creation of aerospace hardware, ensuring alignment with project goals.Utilize Teamcenter to process and track engineering changes through established workflows.Track the status of action items, working closely with IPT leads and designers to ensure timely submission of completed tasks.Lead, participate in, and organize multidisciplinary meetings and discussions, including Design, Structures, and Project Teams.Develop clear and comprehensive project-level work instructions to guide team objectives and tasks.QualificationsExperience in project engineering, specifically in aerospace or related industries.Strong knowledge of project scheduling, planning, and change management.Proficiency with Teamcenter or similar product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.Familiarity with export-controlled documentation and processes.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
