Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement enterprise-level applications using Java, Spring, and microservices architecture.Develop and manage REST APIs, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and well-documented using Swagger.Lead architectural discussions and design sessions, ensuring alignment with TOGAF principles.Ensure robust security practices, including OAuth, OIDC, and effective authentication and authorization mechanisms.Document architecture designs clearly and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.Conduct unit testing, load testing, and maintain comprehensive code documentation.Leverage SQL and ORM technologies such as JPA2 and Hibernate for database interactions.Utilize containerization technologies and orchestration tools for application deployment.Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Bamboo, and GIT for streamlined development workflows.Manage API lifecycle and performance using tools like Layer7 API Developer Portal and Azure API Management. Required QualificationsMinimum 12 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years as an Architect.Proficiency in Enterprise Java, Spring, XML/XSLT, JSON, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.Extensive experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API design.Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services and experience designing cloud-native applications.Experience with monitoring tools and building resilient architectures.Solid understanding of Active Directory and LDAP.Familiarity with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (Tanzu Application Service) or other public cloud platforms.Experience with infrastructure automation and policy development.Strong communication skills, with the ability to document designs and articulate technical concepts clearly.
