Property Accountant | Temp-to-hireLocation: Tualatin, OR Salary: $27-$29/hourPosition SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to support the financial operations of a growing real estate portfolio in the Tualatin area. This role is responsible for day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, and ensuring accuracy across multiple entities and properties. Candidates without direct property accounting experience will be considered if they bring strong multi-entity accounting experience.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle accounting for assigned properties and/or entitiesPrepare monthly financial statements, variance reports, and supporting schedulesReconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts across multiple entitiesProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsTrack and record rent payments, tenant activity, and property-level expensesAssist with budgeting and forecasting processesSupport month-end and year-end close proceduresEnsure compliance with internal controls and accounting policiesPartner with property managers and internal teams to resolve financial discrepanciesRequirements2+ years of accounting experience; property accounting experience is a plus but not requiredMust have experience handling multi-entity or multi-company accountingStrong understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP preferred)Experience with accounting software (Yardi, AppFolio, or similar is a plus, not required)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs preferred)High attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple sets of books and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong communication skills and team-oriented mindset All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
