Contract Employee Relations Investigator

Location Requirements:Day 1 onsite in Lake Forest, IL to pick up equipmentFirst 1–2 weeks onsite in Lake ForestAfter initial onboarding period, flexible onsite schedule (Lake Forest or Chicago office)Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Conduct end-to-end investigations, including Title VII and non–Title VII matters (e.g., discrimination, workplace concerns)Manage time-sensitive and complex investigations across various business functionsPerform intake interviews with reporters (including warm transfers when necessary)Develop and map out investigation plans, including identifying key questions and stakeholdersReview investigation strategy with the Hiring Manager or relevant partners prior to proceedingConduct interviews with employees across the U.S.Document findings thoroughly and objectively (fact-based, no emotional language)Prepare detailed summaries and read out findings to leadershipPartner with Hiring Managers to review findings before formally closing casesProactively manage issues to prevent escalationVolume:Handle approximately 5–10 investigations initiallySystems & Tools:SuccessFactorsEthicsPointServiceNow (case tracking)Experience with case management systems requiredQualifications:Bachelor's degree requiredMay consider candidates with 5+ years of relevant investigation experience in lieu of degree
