Bartender

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills while working in a lively, team-oriented setting. *Duties* * Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits with precision and flair * Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience * Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times * Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper cash handling procedures * Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting * Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste through effective stock rotation * Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions *Qualifications* * Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment with a focus on fine dining or upscale venues * Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer brewing processes * Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently * Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders seamlessly during peak hours * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and positively influence their experience * Food handling certification and knowledge of food safety protocols required for responsible beverage service * Experience with beverage recipe development and creative mixology preferred * Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us in creating vibrant atmospheres where guests feel welcomed and valued!
