CPLC is committed to empowering individuals through health & human services, housing, education, and economic development.Objective And Position SummaryThe HRIS Lead provides strategic leadership, governance, and oversight of the organization’s Human Resources Information System, serving as the primary system owner and subject matter expert. This role is responsible for data integrity, system optimization, compliance alignment, and cross-functional collaboration with HR, Payroll, IT, and external vendors. The HRIS Lead drives continuous improvement through system enhancements, automation, reporting, and audit readiness while supervising HRIS staff and setting operational priorities.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervises HRIS Associate(s) Assigns work, sets priorities, evaluates performance, and provides coaching and developmentPrimary Duties And Essential FunctionsDefines HRIS project roadmaps so they align with organizational priorities, compliance obligations, and operational needsEvaluates and recommends new HR technology solutions, modules, or integrationsEstablishes data standards, validation rules, and reconciliation processesLeads periodic HRIS audits to ensure accuracy of employee data, job codes, compensation, benefits eligibility, and compliance fieldsDesigns preventative system controls and detective monitoring reports to reduce compliance riskEnsures proper record retention, electronic file structure, and audit trail integrityOversees reporting related to headcount, turnover, diversity metrics, leave, and labor complianceEnsures consistency in report definitions and metrics across departmentsLeads continuous improvement initiatives to streamline HR processes using HRIS automationPartners with HR functional owners (Recruitment, Benefits, Compensation, Employee Relations) to optimize system workflowsOversees testing, validation, and deployment of enhancements and patchesServes as primary point of contact for ADP and other HRIS vendors, as assignedManages system-related projects including implementations, upgrades, conversions, and integrationsTranslates regulatory, operational, and leadership requirements into technical system solutionsDevelops HRIS usage standards, job aids, and training curriculumLeads change management efforts for system enhancementsMentors HRIS Associate(s) and supports their technical and professional developmentOther duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications And CompetenciesEducation/Background:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required. Minimum of 5 years’ of directly related experience as an HRIS Analyst or HRIS Specialist working in ADP. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered to meet the qualification of this position.1-2 years of manager experience. Preferred candidate will hold a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) credential or the ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.What does CPLC offer YOU as a valued employee?
