The educational experience provided to our students and their families is rooted in a higher calling from God to honor and celebrate the gifts He has given us.Job SummaryThe Computer Teacher supports students in developing essential technology skills while promoting responsible digital citizenship. As part of a Catholic school community, the teacher also integrates faith-based values into instruction and models Christian behavior consistent with the mission of the school.Job ResponsibilitiesTeach computer and technology classes to students (typically K-8 or middle school grades)Develop lessons on keyboarding, digital literacy, coding basics, internet safety, and productivity toolsIntegrate technology into classroom learning across subjects when appropriatePromote ethical and responsible use of technology in line with Catholic valuesMaintain and manage classroom devices and basic troubleshootingCollaborate with faculty to support technology use in instructionSupervise students and maintain a structured, respectful learning environmentCommunicate with parents/guardians about student progress when neededParticipate in school events, faculty meetings, and faith-based activities (e.g., Mass, prayer services)Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Education, Technology, Computer Science, or related fieldTeaching certification (preferred or required depending on school/diocese)Experience working with children in an educational settingBasic knowledge of computer systems, educational software, and common applications (e.g., word processing, presentations)The Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
