A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - IMC/n/nJob Details:/n• Work 12-hour variable shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM/n• Shift rotation occurs every week or every two weeks/n• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 13-week contract/n• Work every other weekend (weekends are Friday through Sunday)/n• Work every other holiday/n• Float to all inpatient units as needed and potentially to other south region locations including Stevens Point, Plover, and Divine Savior/n• No on-call or call back responsibilities/n• Care for patients in 8-bed Intermediate Care Unit with telemetry monitoring/n• Manage patient ratio of 4:1/n• Treat patients with various conditions including stable sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke/n• Handle primary patients and insulin drips/n• Must have Wisconsin RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC required)/n• Minimum 2+ years experience in stepdown/intermediate care/PCU required/n• Completed travel contract preferred but not required/n• EPIC charting experience required/n• Associate degree or certificate required/n• Any color scrubs accepted/n• Must be a hard worker, resilient, manage change well, and work independently in fast-paced environment/n• 50-mile radius rule from facility applies/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility operates a specialized 8-bed Intermediate Care Unit with telemetry monitoring, providing care for patients with complex medical conditions requiring close observation.
