Housekeeping

Our Hampton Inn & Suites team is looking to add a new member to our housekeeping department and has flexibility including weekends and nights since our hotel is open 24/7. This is a wonderful opportunity available for a flexible, honest, friendly, high-energy, hard-working, guest-focused individual that has a knack for attention to detail. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred. Our hotel housekeeping staff perform a wide range of essential tasks, helping to ensure the smooth clean operations that result in happy customers. Responsibilities:Clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, and elevators as well as guest roomsOrganize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departuresDistribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by handRestock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing suppliesReplace dirty linens with clean itemsInspect and turn mattresses regularlyStore all dirty laundry in line with company policyRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent preferredKnowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methodsKnowledge of cleaning sensitive materialsWorking knowledge of operating cleaning equipmentPhysical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bendAbility to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 30lbs)Compensation and Benefits$10-14/hr - Pay is negotiable based on experience.Health insurancePaid vacationsMonthly bonus401k with a MatchHousekeeping Experience preferredApply in person:Hampton Inn & Suites Jennings 310 Fred & Ruth Zigler Memorial Dr, Jennings, LAEmail your resume: JenningsGM@SunrayMS.com No phone calls, please.Come be part of a team that makes every stay brighter-join Hampton Inn & Suites Jennings today.
