This will take place in a compassionate, ethical and professional manner, resulting in comprehensive medical guidance that meets/exceeds standards of care. The successful Physician candidate will be part of a team dedicated to improving the delivery and quality of health care that is patient-centered, safe and effective in a fast-paced environment.At InterCare Community Health Network, we believe all people have the right to equal access to quality health care.InterCare NO LONGER requires employees to have the COVID vaccine, however, you may receive a vaccine at no cost at any of our clinic locations.Duties And Re SponsibilitiesExamines diagnoses and treats patients for acute injuries, infections, and illnessesCounsels and educates patients about acute and chronic conditions or concernsPromote patient satisfaction and provide excellent customer serviceFormulates diagnostic and treatment plansPrescribes and administers medicationOrders lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment planProvides advice and follow up: and refers appropriate care to specialists when neededEnters patient information into the EHR system completely and accuratelyFollow HIPAA guidelines and safety rulesRequirementsDescription of Contributing AttributesThe candidate we are looking for will have experience in multiple patient care areas. Physician candidates must be a graduate of an MD or DO degree program, completion of Residency Program; Board Certified; must be licensed in the state of Michigan; have DEA Certification: controlled substance license and BLS Certification. Prior clinical experience; urgent care and/or outpatient clinic experience preferred. Have the ability to formulate differential diagnosis, be proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans, can effectively function in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, have outstanding organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, takes initiative, be creative, has problem solving ability, is adaptable, and flexible. Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.Physical DemandsAbility to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, frequently sit, and lift up to 25 lbsRequires good hand-eye coordination, reach with arms & hands, and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and manipulate (using keyboard, office equipment)Visual acuity to use keyboard, operate office equipment, and read printed material and regularly required to talk and hear.InterCare Community Health Network is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
