The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements in compliance with GAAP, directing daily accounting operations, and constructing budgets and forecasts. A key aspect of the role is to analyze variances and provide actionable financial insights. The CFO/Controller/VP Finance will also be tasked with overseeing cash flow, managing debt, and maintaining adequate liquidity for operations. Additionally, the role involves administering inventory accounting, ensuring compliance with import regulations, and coordinating logistics to optimize supply chain processes. Applicants must have 8-20 years' of wholesale/garment accounting experience, with a preference for those with a background in a similar industry. Experience in inventory, shipping/importing, and chargebacks accounting is essential, and strategic finance experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on mentality, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a CPA is also preferred. The role requires the implementation of internal controls, facilitation of audits, and risk mitigation related to financial and operational exposures.
