Job Title: Quality Control InspectorDivision: FiOptix IncFSLA Status: Non-ExemptReports To: Project ManagerJob Summary: This position is responsible for identifying and escalating quality deficiencies to support the completion of assigned work.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform real time inspections evaluating safety, compliance standards, appearance, and customer experienceSchedule and complete a final inspection of work prior to customer walkthroughComplete and submit timely and accurate quality control reports into the appropriate databaseDevelop and maintain relationships with the quality control counterparts of our customersRespond appropriately to customer complaints and inquiries and escalate matters as requiredExecute target amount of job safety observationsIdentify areas of improvement to enhance quality and escalate recommendations to managementComplete all required Company documentationOther duties as assignedQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.Education: High school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school educationExperience:One-year telecommunications quality control experienceOne-year underground construction, aerial construction, and/or multi dwelling unit (MDU) experienceKnowledge of highway traffic control standardsTechnical Skills:Computer and Microsoft Office proficiencyAbility to use a wireless tabletProven knowledge of utility depths and placementProven ability to read and interpret design printsSoft Skills:Highly organized and detail orientatedStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as a member of various teamsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlinesAbility to lead, teach, and train other employeesPhysical Requirements:Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testingMust have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Company requirementsMust be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand for long periods of time on varied surfacesAbility to work outdoors in all types of weatherMay be required to work long and unpredictable hoursAbility to travel up to 100% of the time, including short notice travel.
