Company: Town of NeedhamLocation: Needham, MAPosition: Engineering Aide within the Engineering Division of the Department of Public Works under the supervision of the Senior AutoCAD Technician.The Engineering Aide assists in daily tasks such as field surveys, setting up surveying equipment, recording information, and assisting on a variety of engineering projects in support of departmental goals and objectives. The Engineering Division provides surveying, drafting, estimating, scheduling, and inspectional services for the Department of Public Works and other Town departments, consulting on large construction projects and assisting with capital planning, as well as archiving maps and plans related to Town site plans, property lines, and infrastructure.This opportunity is ideal for those looking to advance their career in Public Works in a municipal setting.
