From utility corridors and renewable energy projects to transportation systems, civil infrastructure, and urban expansion, our teams provide the precision, expertise, and leadership that keep complex projects moving forward.We are growing and seeking a high-energy, technically strong, and collaborative professional who is ready to lead in the field and contribute beyond it.What You'll DoLead boundary, ALTA/NSPS, construction staking, and topographic surveys across diverse project typesSupervise and mentor field crews, providing technical direction and professional developmentManage survey projects from kickoff through closeout - ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are metReview and prepare plats, legal descriptions, right-of-way maps, and construction drawingsOperate and oversee use of GPS, robotic total stations, laser scanners, UAVs, and advanced survey technologiesCollaborate directly with clients, project managers, engineers, and public agenciesServe as signing surveyor in accordance with state licensing requirementsChampion safety, data integrity, and continuous improvementContinue learning and growing professionallyWhat You BringLicensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)5-8+ years of land surveying experienceStrong knowledge of boundary law, construction surveying, and local land use regulationsProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and Leica or Topcon workflowsDemonstrated ability to manage teams, projects, and client relationshipsExcellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skillsValid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as neededWhat We OfferGrowth Opportunities* Specialized training in design, leadership, and business development* Career advancement through continuing education, licensure, certification, and technical developmentCompensation & BenefitsWidseth offers competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications, including:Salary range: $85,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)Discretionary annual profit-sharing bonusesHealth insurance and Health Savings Account (HSA) optionsFlexible benefitsDental and vision coverageLife insuranceShort- and long-term disability insurancePaid time off and paid holidaysProfessional development and continuing education supportAll offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check meeting company standards.
