Job DetailsPosition: System Test EngineerStatus: Permanent; Full-timeLocation: Hybrid at Eglin AFB, FLRequired Travel: As needed to contractor or government sitesClosed Date: Open until filledThe OpportunityArrowpoint Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Test/Systems Engineer to join our government support and advisory team. In this role, you will provide independent critical evaluations of technical data at component, subsystem, and system levels as well as during test strategy and test execution. You’ll identify gaps between requirements and reality and deliver unbiased findings that inform our government customers. This role requires someone who brings a critical yet outcome driven mindset.Your MissionReview and evaluate system architectures and designs against requirements, identifying gaps and technical risksReview test strategies and witness their execution for defense munition systems across developmental and operational test phasesAnalyze test data and reports, producing clear unbiased findings to government customersReview analyses and reports of technical performance metricsUnderstand requirement decomposition and traceability across system hierarchiesParticipate in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, and working groupsProvide written and verbal technical advisement to government customersKnowledge & Experience to Win Us OverBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering or similar degreeSecret Security ClearanceExperience with munitions system or munitions component development1-2 years of hands-on experience designing and executing system-level tests across development or operational phases of munition system or munition componentsExperience supporting or reviewing formal test eventsExperience reading and critiquing system specifications, interface control documents (ICDs), test plans, and other technical project deliverablesBasic understanding of electromagnetic and RF design theory, techniques, and conceptsExperience with munition safety and handlingExperience in telecom, aerospace, or defense industriesAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressureMotivated by meaningful impact and real-world outcomesExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesApplying ConsiderationsIf this role and environment sound like a good fit but you don’t meet all the ideal knowledge and experience, please reach out with your interest anyway.
