SQL Developer

(Only US Citizens - As per clients visa restrictions)We need a senior (10+ years, 15 preferred) SQL Developer to Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views to support business and reporting needs and partner closely with SSIS developers to support and troubleshoot ETL packages, data flows, and integration processes. How many years working with: Banking or Capital Markets or Financial services Preferred – MUST HAVE VERY LARGE, WELL KNOWN ENTERPRISE EXPERIENCE****CANDIDATES MUST HAVE GOOD TENURE AND/OR LONG PROJECTS.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views to support business and reporting needsPartner closely with SSIS developers to support and troubleshoot ETL packages, data flows, and integration processesCollaborate with Power BI developers to ensure data models and underlying SQL structures support efficient, accurate reporting and dashboardingPerform data profiling, validation, and quality checks across source and target systemsTune queries and indexes for performance across large, complex datasetsTranslate business requirements into technical specifications in partnership with stakeholders across the business and technology teamsDocument data flows, schema changes, and technical processes for ongoing maintainabilityTroubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies, performance issues, and pipeline failuresRequired QualificationsStrong hands-on experience writing and optimizing complex T-SQL (SQL Server preferred)Demonstrated experience working alongside SSIS developers on ETL/data integration processesDemonstrated experience working alongside Power BI developers, with an understanding of how data models feed reporting layersStrong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to work independently in a long-term consulting capacity, managing competing priorities across multiple stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsFinancial services experience (asset management, hedge fund, private credit, or related) is a strong plusFamiliarity with data warehousing concepts and best practicesExperience supporting front-, middle-, or back-office reporting functions within financial services
