Senior Accounting Manager

Our client is an industry leading, fast growing, international manufacturing and service company seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Accounting Manager to lead key accounting operations and support the continued growth of their organization. This role will oversee core accounting functions, manage and develop staff, and partner closely with senior leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical accounting knowledge, process improvement experience, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily accounting operations and month-end close activitiesManage and mentor accounting staff, providing leadership and professional developmentEnsure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAPReview account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger activityAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisSupport annual audits and coordinate with external auditorsDevelop and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficienciesCollaborate cross-functionally with leadership and operational teamsAssist with special projects and strategic financial initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of progressive accounting experiencePrior management or team leadership experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingExperience with large ERP systems and advanced Excel skillsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectivelyPreferred QualificationsCPA preferred but not requiredPublic accounting experience is a plusExperience in healthcare, nonprofit, manufacturing, or other complex organizations welcomedCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation packageBonus opportunityFlexible hybrid work environmentComprehensive benefits packageOpportunity for advancement and leadership growth
