Wealth Management Market Development Director

The Wealth Management Market Development Director will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and leading client-facing teams within Trustmark Wealth. This senior leadership position is designed for a visionary professional dedicated to expanding brand recognition and crafting innovative market strategies and business opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing a scalable, efficient, and profitable wealth planning delivery model. You will lead the development of thought leadership initiatives and oversee marketing functions both internally and externally. Key Responsibilities:Develop, train, and inspire a high-performing team to maximize productivity and engagement towards achieving strategic organizational goals. Drive market sales and revenue targets through the acquisition of new clients and the retention and growth of existing relationships. Educate and align client-facing roles across Wealth Management, Institutional Banking, and Retail Banking to enhance referral activity and boost revenue growth. Create and implement strategic sales messages and coordinate market segment activities to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions. Oversee the Advisory team directly and support client-facing associates to surpass business targets while prioritizing holistic client engagement. Foster a collaborative culture that delivers an exceptional client experience focused on comprehensive financial planning. Engage actively with clients to identify revenue growth opportunities and build strong, trusting relationships for retention and expansion. Ensure adherence to pricing strategies and explore new business opportunities that align with Wealth objectives. Represent Trustmark Wealth in internal initiatives and external engagements as an influential leader. Serve on assigned Wealth committees and perform additional duties as required to fulfill organizational needs. Qualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in wealth management, investments, trust, or estate planning. A minimum of 3 years in a managerial role. A proven track record of excellence in sales performance and/or management within a wealth management context. Strong judgment and decision-making abilities with a focus on collaboration. Exceptional analytical skills to interpret data and develop strategic recommendations. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Commitment to providing outstanding customer service through effective teamwork. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing 8-12 associates. A strong inclination to achieve high levels of client service. Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills. Preferred:Master's Business Administration, Juris Doctorate, or other advanced degree. Certifications such as CFP, CTFA, or CPA. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for extended periods and operate a computer keyboard and mouse while viewing computer screens.
