#Eng-IT-01 Automation Engineer
Location: Northern Utah
Status: Full-time direct hire
Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000
Responsibilities
Develop and modify code for new and existing machines to improve performance.
Troubleshoot and standardize solutions for machine issues.
Collaborate on robotic applications and cross-functional projects.
Manage projects from inception to implementation, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion.
Lead automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
Conduct feasibility and ROI analyses for proposed solutions.
Assist in implementing new technologies and developing standard control strategies.
Maintain and update electrical schematics.
Ensure a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Automation Engineering.
Experience with control networks, such as Ethernet/IP and DeviceNet.
Familiarity with manufacturing systems, control technologies, and robotic applications.
Proficiency in PLC Ladder Logic Systems, especially Allen Bradley and General Electric.
Strong problem-solving skills in control software and hardware.
