Automotive Service Manager

This position is open due to an upcoming retirement.WE OFFER:Full medical insurance- Blue Cross Blue Shield401k with company matchPaid holidaysPaid vacationEmployee DiscountsWeekly payroll and direct depositRESPONSIBILITIES:Manage our (air-conditioned) service department processes and personnelUtilize and update Reynolds and Reynolds on a daily basis to manage and monitor shop scheduling, workflow and productivity.Manage productivity of technicians to ensure billable hours and workflow are appropriateManage TSD Loaner Software on a daily basis to manage our fleet of service loaners.Manage internal repair orders to turn used vehicles and retired loaners over to showroom quicklyWork with Service BDC and Marketing Team to maximize service sales opportunities, retention and attract new customersManage processing of warranty repair orders and claimsManage lot attendantsContact customers directly if a complaint is made in attempt to resolveInteract with external vendors (ie Hunter, etc)REQUIREMENTS:Must have strong computer skills. Must be able to use several software programs to manage the shop on a daily basis.Previous experience as a Service Manager at a dealershipFord experience preferredExperience managing a union shop is preferredPrevious experience as a technician is a plusExperience with warranty is preferredExperience with Reynolds is preferredEnthusiastic with high energy throughout the workdayOutgoing with a friendly personalityExcellent communication and organizational skills to deal with customers, employees and vendorsExperience implementing structured business processesStrong track record of top CSI and online reputation ratingsMust be willing to submit to a background checkMUST have valid drivers license and clean driving record
