POSITION OBJECTIVEThe Instrument Technician ensures the efficient operation of process instrumentation.II. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITYTroubleshoot and repair all conventional instrumentation including DCS and analyzers.Complete daily paperwork as required.On-call duty.Complete daily route check of assigned area.Calibrate all conventional instrumentation, analyzers & DCS.Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including ISO, personnel, quality, environmental, health, safety, regulatory and company requirements.Work outside normal shift hours and on-call as needed.Maintain regular and reliable attendance.Comply with NTG (Nothing Touching the Ground) requirements, including daily audits.Be active in Operation Clean Sweep, ensuring employees are aware of and accountable for pellet loss prevention, containment, cleanup and disposal.Perform other duties as assigned.III. QUALIFICATIONSA. TECHNICAL JOB CRITERIAPrevious related experience required: minimum 2 years (PLC, analyzer & DCS experience preferred), high school diploma or equivalent, or associate degree in instrumentation or electronics or related fields.B. EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent.Valid driver's license.Obtain a TWIC – Transportation Workers Identification Card within 90 days of employment and maintain it throughout employment.Associate degree in instrumentation or electronics or two (2) years' experience (PLC, analyzer & DCS experience preferred).D.
