Application Architect (Angular)

This role requires an experienced Application Architect with expertise in Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and SQL databases, as well as strong leadership and documentation skills. Here’s a breakdown: Key Responsibilities: System Architecture & Design: Develop system components, interfaces, and workflows. Adhere to project control processes and change control procedures. Ensure security and performance optimization. Technical Implementation & Development: Implement MEPIC system using Angular 15+, Java 21, Spring Boot, MS-SQL 2019, and JBoss 8.x. Design and develop REST APIs, stored procedures, and UI components. Follow best practices in RxJS, NgRx, TypeScript, and responsive design. Testing & Documentation: Create technical documentation, test plans, and security plans. Develop positive and negative test scenarios to validate system functionality. Ensure proper knowledge transfer to maintenance teams. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with OSIS, EIS Leadership, and CLIENT ITS teams. Translate business requirements into technical solutions. Communicate technical designs in non-technical terms for end-users. Mandatory Skills & Experience: ✅ 7+ years of IT project experience (preferably large-scale). ✅ Advanced Angular (15+), Java 21, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL. ✅ Experience in UI/UX principles, state management (NgRx), and CI/CD. ✅ Strong communication and collaboration skills. ✅ Experience with multi-vendor project teams and government projects Job Type: Contract Pay: From $65.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Ability to Commute: Tallahassee, FL 32301 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Tallahassee, FL 32301: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
