Since 1986, we have offered our clinical expertise to those suffering from emotional, behavioral and addiction problems.POSITION SUMMARYThe LPT performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.Shift Availabilities:AM shift - 07:00am - 3:30pmPM shift - 3:00pm - 11:30pmNOC shift - 11:00pm- 7:30amQualificationsEducation: High School Diploma/Equivalent. Trraining as a Psychiatric Technician.Experience: Minimum six (6) months as a LPT preferred. Willing to train New Grad.Licensure:Valid license to practice as a Psychiatric TechnicianAdditional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification, and successful completion of the hospital's designated behavioral and physical management training program, including de-escalation and appropriate use of seclusion and restraint required prior to assisting in the procedures.
