Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel CVOR / Anesthesia RN – Travel Contract Contract Length: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP ⏱ Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week (excluding orientation week & certain holidays) Schedule & Call Requirements Shift: Monday–Friday (various day shifts) On-Call: 1 night/week 1 weekend/month 1 backup call/week Occasional additional call possible ⏳ Response Time: 30 minutes (must be OR-ready) Vehicle Required (due to response time) Weekend & Holiday Every 3rd–4th weekend Holiday rotation required Requirements Experience: 3 years OR experience ( required ) Prior travel experience ( required ) Certifications: BLS & ACLS (AHA or ARC) WI RN License or Compact License Charting: Epic ( required ) Skills & Expertise Strong OR / CVOR circulating experience Experience assisting with: Intubations & fiber optic scopes Arterial lines, central lines, lumbar drains Swan-Ganz catheter placement Proficient in: IV starts, lab draws Medication pumps Cell Saver, Belmont, Level I equipment Exposure to: Cardiac, trauma, elective & general surgeries Conscious sedation experience ( preferred ) Unit Details 21 OR suites across all specialties 4–5 rooms assigned per day Focus on cardiothoracic program About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
