Pulmonary Nurse LvnMission Valley Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pulmonary Nurse LVN to join our clinical team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in respiratory care and a strong commitment to providing high-quality nursing services to patients with pulmonary conditions. This role involves close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and improve respiratory health outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Provide skilled nursing care to patients with respiratory and pulmonary conditionsMonitor and assess patients' respiratory status, including oxygen saturation and lung soundsAdminister medications, treatments, and oxygen therapy as prescribedAssist with pulmonary rehabilitation and breathing treatments (e.g., nebulizers, inhalers)Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionalsAccurately document patient care, progress, and any changes in conditionEducate patients and families on respiratory health, treatments, and care plansEnsure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policiesQualifications:Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing (California)Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; pulmonary or respiratory care experience preferredStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentCurrent CPR/BLS certification requiredSchedule:Part-time hours; flexible scheduling may be availableWeekend and holiday availability may be requiredBenefits (may include):Competitive hourly rate at $41/hourSupportive team environmentOpportunities for professional growth and continuing educationInterested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume and credentials for consideration.
