Job Title: Materials Handler/Material ClerkLocation: Newark, DE 19702Duration: Contract position of 03 months with possible extensionSchedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMPay range: $21 to $26 an hour (Depends on experience & qualification)Position OverviewClient is seeking a reliable Materials Handler to support warehouse and inventory operations. This role is responsible for ordering supplies, maintaining inventory levels, receiving and stocking materials, and supporting shipping and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage inventory with a high level of accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesManage inventory control, stocking, and tracking of warehouse materials.Assist in issuing purchase orders and processing orders for technicians, clients, and vendors.Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and supplies.Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation.Pull, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment.Perform inventory counts and maintain warehouse stock levels.Deliver materials or parts to technicians and job sites as needed.Maintain warehouse organization and ensure safe handling of materials.Handle waste management, including electronic waste, equipment recycling, and battery disposal.Maintain filing systems for invoices and documentation.Assist with permit applications, submittals, and operational documentation when required.Respond to phone inquiries from employees and customers regarding orders or materials.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED3 years of experience in warehouse, materials handling, logistics, or inventory rolesExperience with ERP systems preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and OutlookValid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle if requiredStrong attention to detail and accountabilityAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasksPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularlyFrequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reachingAbility to climb ladders or safety laddersWork in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levels
