VP/SVP, Custodian Relationship Management
We are working with a leading financial technology and investment platform seeking a VP/SVP, Custodian & Wealth Platform Partnerships to manage key relationships across the wealth management custody and advisor platform ecosystem. This is not a sales, fundraising, or business development role. The focus is on managing the day-to-day relationship with custodial and platform partners, understanding how those platforms operate, and working internally to ensure execution across operations, technology, product, legal, compliance, and client-facing teams.The right person will have hands-on experience with the infrastructure that supports wealth management platforms, RIAs, and/or alternative investment access. This may include exposure to custodians, clearing platforms, advisor platforms, trade execution, account setup, reporting, data feeds, integrations, service escalations, or operational workflows.Strong candidates may come from custodians, wealth platforms, clearing firms, alternative investment platforms, wealth-tech firms, or asset management platforms that work closely with custodial partners.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day to day relationships with key custodial and wealth platform partnersServe as a primary point of contact for partner issues, priorities, follow-up, and ongoing coordinationWork closely with internal teams across operations, technology, product, legal, compliance, and client coverageSupport partner planning, performance reviews, reporting, and regular business updatesHelp resolve operational issues related to platform workflows, trade execution, account setup, reporting, integrations, and service deliveryTrack partner requests and ensure the right internal teams are aligned on next stepsIdentify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen partner connectivity, and support broader platform adoptionBuild trusted relationships with external partners and internal stakeholdersQualifications8+ years of experience in wealth management, custodial platforms, clearing, advisor platforms, investment operations, platform relationship management, or related areasDirect exposure to custodians, clearing platforms, RIA platforms, or wealth management platform infrastructureUnderstanding of how advisors and wealth management firms work with custodiansFamiliarity with operational workflows such as trade execution, reporting, onboarding/account setup, integrations, reconciliations, data feeds, or service escalationsExposure to alternative investments, private markets, structured investments, or investment platform workflows preferredAbility to manage external partner relationships while driving internal coordination and follow-throughStrong communication, project management, and problem-solving skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentCandidates with primarily sales, fundraising, capital formation, investor relations, compliance, or financial advisory backgrounds will likely be less aligned unless they also have direct experience working with custodians or wealth platform infrastructure.
