Make Ready Stock Clerk

DescriptionThis individual will convert raw materials into press/finishing ready material for the production department.This is a 1st shift position and will work 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday with a 30-minute lunch break. Must learn properties and characteristics of material used by production to visually differentiate the difference of material families.Operates assigned machinery to convert raw material into production ready material in roll or sheet form.Understands priority of material request to process material pick tickets in order of importance to the production floorCleans work area on a daily basis moves empty containers and pallets to storage area to keep area free from clutter and trash.RequirementsGood memorization and mathematical skillsGood communication skillsGood decision making skillsGood problem solving skillPhysical RequirementsAble to lift a minimum of 25 poundsAble to handle stress, pressure and deadlinesAttends work regularly to ensure good production flowAbility to follow company policies and procedures while performing job dutiesJob involves standing or walking most of the shiftExposure to noise, heat and fumes
