The Opportunity Join our Physical Therapy team at Yakima Memorial Hospital in Yakima, Washington. Our Physical Therapists are comprised of a diverse group of dedicated professionals that incorporate many general and specialty lines of service. We're looking for individuals to complete our outpatient, acute care and home health teams. Position Summary The Physical Therapist is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, evaluating, planning, and implementing medically prescribed treatment programs for patients to restore functions, relieve pain and prevent disability following disease or injury. This professional-level position gives you the capacity for independent operations as you apply discretion and good judgment toward ensuring high-quality therapeutic care. Responsibilities You will perform well in stress and emergency situations You will perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan, and modify the treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and response to treatment You will perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient population as directed You will perform documentation in the medical record that is timely and accurate You will communicate well with patients, peers, other health professionals in the coordination of care for the patients Requirements Successful completion of state board examination Currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Washington Experience in orthopedic, neurologic, cardiac patient management desirable About Yakima Memorial Hospital MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital has served the Yakima Valley since 1950.
