Construction Administrator/Architect

Full-time Construction Administrator opening with a well-established commercial architecture and design firm in Minneapolis.Responsibilities:Oversee construction administration for multiple building projects from inception to completionConduct field inspections and prepare detailed reports.Review submittals, shop drawings, and applications for payment.Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and coordinate with consultants.Attend and contribute to progress meetings, preparing punch lists and various AIA documents.Coordinate architectural and sub-consultant activities related to construction contract administration.Process sketches/drawings, permit revisions, and change orders.Assist in developing and improving contract administration processes with a focus on efficiency and quality.Compile, evaluate, and present feedback on necessary changes in construction documents.Conduct on-site observations and prepare reports.Coordinate with the architecture/engineering team to ensure compliance with contract documents and regulations.Review contractor's project drawings, warranties, and post-construction submittals.Review construction change orders and contractor requests for payment.Qualifications:Proficiency in construction administration.Minimum 10 years of professional experienceAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent coordination and communication skills.Experience in hospitality, commercial, multi-family, or education sectors preferred.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $58.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
