Job TitleJob RequirementsJob DescriptionDutiesYou will work cohesively with the Director, Civilian Human Resources (DCHR) to integrate Human Capital Management (HCM), EEO, and MD 715 and similar type programs into the Command's human capital strategic plan.You will develop, execute and manage the NAVSEA-wide EEO and MD 715 and similar type programs and policies using program objectives and established Department of the Navy (DON) and NAVSEA milestones.You will provide technical oversight to Lower Echelon Deputy Directors, EEO to ensure compliance with regulations and policies, internal/external program assessments and reporting requirements.You will provide guidance, assistance, and training to managers and supervisors at the Headquarters, Program Executive Offices (PEOS), Warfare Center, and general fund field activities, as needed.You will serve as the liaison between the Command and the DON Office of EEO and MD 715 and similar type programs, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and other external compliance organizations.You will coordinate responses and prepare final command assessment report, to include statistical and narrative accomplishments in achieving a model EEO Program.You will identify and eliminate barriers to equal opportunity in the workplace through barrier analyses and trend reviews.You will provide guidance, assistance, and training to management officials at all levels as proactive prevention of discrimination complaints.You will perform supervisory functions to include the delegation of work based on priorities and difficulty of assignments.Requirements Conditions of employmentMust be a US Citizen.Must be determined suitable for federal employment.Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
