Human Resources Work StudyThe Human Resources Work Study will assist members of the Human Resources team with a variety of administrative and operational tasks, providing a comprehensive introduction to the core functions of the HR department. The role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and trust. Maintaining confidentiality is essential. Additional Information: Applications without a resume will not be considered Hiring for Fall 2026 semester, starting in April to learn role and responsibilities. ResponsibilitiesYou will gain experience in: Professional Communication & Customer Service Greeting guests and answering phone calls professionally Guiding student employees on accurate timekeeping procedures HR Knowledge & Operations Supporting HR staff with daily projects and operational needs Assisting in the creation of training materials, ie. manuals, videos, folders Updating and maintaining HR department website content Confidentiality & Compliance Handling documents securely, including filing and shredding Copying, organizing, and preparing personnel files Technical & Administrative Skills Completing data entry and document preparation Prioritizing assignments and managing time effectively Teamwork & Culture Helping coordinate HR events such as holiday meals and office decorating Contributing to a positive workplace culture through teamwork and adaptability QualificationsProfessionalism Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all employee and student data Neat, professional appearance appropriate for an office setting Friendly and professional demeanor when assisting guests, staff, and peers Reliability & Work Ethic Dependable and punctual; able to work assigned shifts consistently and meet deadlines Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision Communication & Organization Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with standard English grammar, spelling, and punctuation Technical Skills Proficient typing and general computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, web navigation) Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs Required SkillsResume About UsStudent worker positions provide valuable on-campus employment opportunities that support departments while helping students develop professional skills.
