Onsite POC/Program Protection/Program Security Support AssistantLocation(s): Fort Meade, MD Hours: Regular Full-TimeSalary Range: $94k/yr - $130k/yrClearance Requirements: This position requires a current and active TS/SCI at the time of application.Position Overview: Looking for a highly trained security person with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience working with Department of Defense Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and experience in integrating program protection planning and execution in accordance with DoD 5200.39, Critical Program Information (CPI) Protection within the Department of Defense and DoDI 5000.02, Operation of the Defense Acquisition System.What You Will Be Doing:Integrate and execute program protection planningAssist with conducting assessments of the protection statusAssist in the review/revision of protection-related documents to ensure mutual compatibility and comprehensive protection.Assist with documenting policy outlining the requirements and development of Program Protection Plans; access to SIPR required.When needed, assist with implementation and improvement of protection measures, when necessary.Review and provide guidance on security classification guide development during all phases of an acquisition effort. Review proposed industry interfaces, OPSEC procedures, and cover stories for continued applicability.Assist with conducting the Critical Program Information (CPI) assessment of Agency's programs and projects; access to SIPR required as some of the information assessed resides on SIPRRecommend interim protection measures upon completion of the CPI Assessment.Analyze threats to CPI and other sensitive information.Develop and submit necessary inputs to servicing Counterintelligence Threat Assessment CenterReview threat assessment to derive program specific vulnerabilitiesPrepare, coordinate, and submit annual reports on program security issues, as required.Act as the onsite program contractor lead POC for the government.Position Requirements:Minimum of five years' experience in utilizing the Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) series.Minimum Requirements:8 years of experience working with the Department of DefensePreferred Requirements:Experience in integrating program protection planning and executionPhysical Requirements:This position may require travelNormally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.
