Manufacturing Associate- 2nd Shift
General Description:The set-up personnel set up and program the robotic cells. The set-up personnel reports to the Stamping Supervisor.Responsibilities:Support and follow the Company Safety Programs.Support and follow Quality & Environmental ProgramsOperate pressesInsert sheet metal into pressesPlacing parts in racksTag racks for shipping, rework, etc.Complete box count sheetsAbility to print flow charts and parts inspection plansPerform tier 1 auditsTrouble-shot quality, press, and set-up problemsInspects partsAchieve standard ratesPerform all other work as deemed necessary by supervisionPreferred Qualifications:High School diploma or GEDOne-year experience in stamping set-up or equivalentAbility to climbAbility to lift up to 40 pounds unassistedAbility to perform repetitive movement with hands, arms and bodyBasic math skillsUnderstand stamping operationsJob Location:Performed on the plant floor.Equipment Used:Presses, die movers, forklift, band saw, grinders, block and tackle, drill press, lathes, impact wrench, set-up wrench, hand tools, gauges, micrometers, jacks and extractors, protective earplugs and safety glasses. Truck mounted crane and tractor-trailer when applicable, safety glasses, ear plugs, arm guards, gloves, and all required personal protective equipment.
