Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physician Assistant (PA) for join us in the Emergency Department at Bergen New Bridge M.C. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment delivering high-quality acute care.Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history and physical examinationsDiagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions in the Emergency DepartmentOrder, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with attending physiciansPerform procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, and other emergency interventionsDocument patient care accurately and in a timely manner in the EMRCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team membersEnsure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory standardsQualifications:Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant programCurrent New Jersey PA licenseNCCPA certification requiredBLS, ACLS (PALS preferred)Prior Emergency Medicine experience preferred, new graduates with strong clinical rotations consideredStrong clinical judgment, multitasking ability, and excellent communication skillsPosition Details:Full-time schedule Monday to Friday 12p-8pCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits packageSupportive team environment with opportunities for professional growthApply today to make an impact where it matters most.
