OverviewEngineering Technician 4LOCATION:Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, ALJOB STATUS:Full-timeCLEARANCE: Ability to Obtain SecretTRAVEL:5%Astrion offers comprehensive services that boost preparedness, optimize performance, and ensure success across various domains, from Cyber to Digital, Mission and Systems, servicing our nation's Civilian, Defense and Space communities.We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S.Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician 4 for the RTC Test and Engineering Services (RTES) Contract supporting the Army Division.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS7 years of applicable experience supporting engineering, design, or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or 3 years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and 4 years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area: Commercial and Industrial Electrical.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance (Must be a U.S. Citizen).Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.Must have a valid driver's license.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSGood leadership & people skills.Experience in applying Operational Procedures, Policies, and SOP's.Ability to manage personnel, effectively utilize employee skillsets, and make sure they align with test events.RESPONSIBILITIESThe technician will be required to provide electrician support for operations in, and around, test stands and fixtures.Operate and maintain equipment for test support.Work as a team member to plan, setup, install, troubleshoot/maintain range electrical and fiber lines.Support senior engineers and technicians during test operations on local test ranges as well as CONUS travel missions on other DoD test ranges.#CJ
