The information technology support services analyst I performs a variety of professional, technical and analytical duties in the operation of enterprise, client/server and desktop computer systems and networks. Analyzes, detects, identifies and corrects technical problems and deficiencies. Configures and installs computer hardware and software. Manage inventory control of IT equipment and supplies. Upgrades hardware and software components. Maintains IT hardware asset and software tracking. Monitors and collect data on system performance. Position will receive direction and support. This position level would typically include junior Technical Analyst performing mostly basic tasks. Prior extensive experience not requiredResponsibilities & Essential Duties Development, activities and changes of computing systems and programsProvides computer / test equipment interfaceEnsures computer hardware and software associated with laboratory activities comply with Systems Security General Practices. Performance of risk assessments and implementation of controls and disaster recovery plans, as appropriate LIMS manager and LIMS change coordinatorProvides support to systems users.Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Skills) IT degreeExperience with Sample Manager, Excel, Chromeleon, Open Lab, Coding (JAVA, C/C++, Visual Basic)Extensive working knowledge of PCs, network hardware, operating systems, software and network communication protocols.
