Scrum Master / Agile Coach (Mid-Level) – Colorado Springs, CO
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
CNF Technologies is searching for a journeyman Scrum Master / Agile Coach to support United States Space Force (USSF) by developing software in support of Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:
As a mid-level Scrum Master / Agile Coach with CNF, your development activities at the Cyber Operations Branch program office adhere to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). SAFe offers proven, integrated principles, practices, and competencies to implement lead, agile, and DevOps at scale. Additionally, this program office personifies DevSecOps which automates integration of security at every phase of the software development lifecycle from initial design, through integration, testing, deployment, and delivery. These development efforts shall result in two deployable defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to USSF mission systems.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
Providing strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff
Working high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performing all functional duties independently
Overseeing efforts of less senior staff and responsible for efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job
Ensuring consistent submission of high-quality products to the Government
Communicating clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy—oral and written
REQUIRED SKILLS:
At least six years (6) relevant experience performing activities in the Government (military and/or civil servant), federally funded research and development center, or profit or non-profit Government support, or development contractor arena

Experience or knowledge in the following Areas:
Agile software development
Agile methodologies
Software project management
Cross-functional teams
DESIRED SKILLS:
Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command
Experience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program office
Advisory and Assistance Service (A&AS), or System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to Government program office
Experience with ACAT I/II level acquisition programs
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS):
Master’s degree in STEM related specialty (preferred)
Or bachelor’s degree in STEM related specialty plus 3 years experience as scrum master or agile coach
Must have the following certifications: SAFe Scrum Master & SAFe for Teams, or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master & SAFe for Teams
CLEARANCE:
Candidate must have active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility as a condition of employment
LOCATION:
Work is within 60 minutes of Colorado Springs / some remote work possible. You may be required to travel periodically within the continental United States
